Forum Title: Plush Carpet seams
Hello my name is Jaime I'm new to the forum, and I was hoping to get some insight on a certain topic. Lately I've been doing a lot of these plush carpets, I don't know if other installers call them by another name but basically carpet with a shorter yarn although they are more dense that standard cut pile. My issue is that my seams are not coming out perfect sometimes and I would like to get as good as I can. Often they'll show sort of a line when the seam is stroked sideways, so not running with the nap, almost as if the yarns did not mix in together right. Any tips from the experts?

You're right pictures would help illustrate but I don't have any as of right now

Been awhile since I've done one. Those are touchy when you stretch too as the stretcher teeth can leave marks. Are you running a row when cutting and sealing the edge? What seaming system are you using?
